Parking Permits for People with Severe Disabilities
Residents with severe medical disabilities may apply for a temporary or permanent parking permit. Applications are available at the Town Clerk's office and must be completed by the person with the disability and the person's doctor. Temporary parking permits are valid for six months. Both temporary and permanent parking permits have expiration dates. The permit is designed to hang from car's rearview mirror when parked, but should be removed when the vehicle is in use. Lost or stolen permits should be reported to the Town Clerk's office immediately and must also be reported to the New York State Police by the applicant.
