Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) Requests

The Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) provides rights of access to accessible records (including GIS maps) that are kept, held, filed, produced or reproduced by a local government or state agency.  Reproduction fees apply at a cost of 25¢ per 8 1/2 x 11" page and $1.00 for a CD.   Application for Public Access to Records (FOIL) forms should include a specific description of the record requested and be submitted in writing or by e-mail.  Forms are also available at the Town Clerk's office.
